Capital Group Senior Relationship Manager Role

Are you a skilled business development specialist with experience in third-party distribution and relationship management? Do you have a passion for private markets and a talent for educating audiences on their benefits?

We are seeking a Senior Relationship Manager to join our team at Capital Group. As a key member of our Private Markets team, you will be responsible for delivering point-of-sale platforming expertise and representing Capital Group's Public Private Solutions to strategic client product and research teams.

About the Role:
This is an exciting opportunity to leverage your skills and experience in building meaningful relationships and establishing trust with key stakeholders. You will identify and create business development opportunities, manage ongoing relationships with Product Leaders and Research Departments, and focus on leading Capital Group's expansion into private markets.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute firm-level business plans and proactive engagement strategies with key relationship gatekeepers for private markets.
  • Build strong relationships with Product Leaders and Research Departments to drive business growth and revenue.
  • Represent Capital Group's Public Private Solutions to strategic client product and research teams, showcasing the benefits of private markets and our unique value proposition.

Requirements:
  • Proven experience in third-party distribution within asset management, selling directly at the home office client level and relationship management experience with Product and Research Teams.
  • Experience working with private markets strategies, comfortable educating audiences on their benefits.
  • Broad knowledge of Private Markets from a distribution perspective across vehicle structures, competition, pricing, platforming usage, and established relationships across key firms.
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices.

What We Offer:

We offer a highly competitive base salary of $180,000 - $260,000, plus applicable bonuses, an annual profitability bonus, and a retirement plan where Capital contributes 15% of your eligible earnings. Our compensation and benefits package is designed to attract and retain top talent in the industry.
