Job Summary

We're seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Compliance Operations Coordinator to join our team. As a Compliance Operations Coordinator, you will play a critical role in supporting our compliance programs and ensuring that we maintain the highest standards of regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the implementation and enforcement of our compliance programs, including SARC/Title 31 and Responsible Gaming.
  • Coordinate regulatory activities to provide optimum support to all departments and management.
  • Process renewal submissions for the Iowa Racing and Gaming Commission.
  • Maintain organized records and files to document transactions.
  • Assist in the compilation of reports for the Iowa Racing and Gaming Commission and submit necessary paperwork on behalf of management, as needed.
  • Track and maintain Iowa Racing and Gaming Commission approval documentation for property matters.
  • Perform research for tasks ranging from small daily projects and questions to large-scale implementation procedures; report findings to management.
  • Assist in the audit of our Self-Exclusion program, as needed.
  • Maintain compliance logs and ensure they are updated.
  • Assist in the audit of Responsible Gaming, CTR, and SARC and/or Title 31 programs, in accordance with our established compliance guidelines.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality in all departmental and company matters.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent and minimum one year of experience in compliance or governmental affairs required, Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, and Outlook).
  • Knowledge of Casino Operations software and equipment a plus.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to meet deadlines and effectively manage multiple priorities in a demanding work environment.
  • Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to review documents for regulatory requirements.
  • Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and time management skills.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
  • Ability to interact with guests, staff, and colleagues and resolve problems and conflicts in a diplomatic and tactful manner.
