About the Role

The Implementation Director, Nature Bonds, is a key leadership position responsible for overseeing the implementation of the Nature Bonds portfolio. This includes leading, tracking, and ensuring compliance with project agreements, as well as driving conservation outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the management and compliance of the Nature Bonds portfolio, including post-financial close projects in Seychelles, Belize, Barbados, and Gabon.
  • Manage and monitor project implementation, documenting and assessing progress, and reporting to stakeholders.
  • Drive key processes and produce deliverables for project agreement compliance.
  • Escalate issues that require higher-level decision-making or could result in potential risks.
  • Contribute to impact reporting through Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning systems.
  • Support TNC communications, marketing, and philanthropy efforts related to Nature Bonds project implementation.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree and at least 5 years of related experience, or equivalent combination.
  • Experience in research, critical analysis, and evaluating information from divergent sources and compiling it into cohesive reports.
  • Experience presenting to and/or communicating with government staff, community or business leaders, program leadership, and/or similar audiences.
  • Experience developing, directing, and managing multiple projects and implementing strategic program goals.
  • Experience in partnership development with non-profit partners, community groups, and/or government agencies.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Multi-lingual skills and multi-cultural or cross-cultural experience.
  • Experience working with several different teams in a matrix structure.
  • Critical analytical thinking and excellent English writing skills.
  • Conservation portfolio management, tracking, and reporting experience.
  • Conservation Trust Fund management, operations, and administration experience.
  • Operations and management experience with respect to affiliates and controlled companies.
Salary Information

This position may be based in any country where TNC has an established entity, taking into consideration legal restrictions, such as non-national ratios and immigration processing times.

For U.S.-based applicants only, the starting pay range for this position is generally within the range of $80,000 to $120,000 for annual base salary and is based on location, qualifications, specific skills, and experience.

For all other applicants, pay ranges will be in local currency, the pay range will be based on the local labor market, and not tied to the above pay range.
