Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled surgical technologist to collaborate with our team in a dynamic healthcare environment. As a key member of our surgical team, you will be responsible for preparing and sterilizing operating rooms, equipment, and instruments to ensure a safe and efficient surgical experience. Your expertise will be essential in preparing patients for surgery, providing support during procedures, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace. Additionally, you will be responsible for tracking surgical supplies, staying up-to-date on the latest surgical technology and medical terminology, and working collaboratively with surgeons, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to deliver exceptional patient care. To be successful in this role, you will need to possess a strong understanding of surgical technology and procedures, as well as excellent communication and teamwork skills. Responsibilities:
• Preparing sterile operating rooms for surgeries
• Sterilizing equipment and instruments
• Stocking adequate supplies for surgery
• Preparing patients for surgery by washing and disinfecting incision sites
• Providing support during surgery by passing instruments and other supplies
• Tracking surgical supplies
• Staying up-to-date on surgical technology, medical terminology, and procedures
• Working well with surgeons, surgical assistants, nurses, and general surgical team
• Helping provide great patient care

Requirements:

  • 2 years OR experience
Updated Resume
BLS AHA
WA Surg Tech Registration
CVOR experience required
Covid Vaccine card

Shift:
Days 3x12 hours
