About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Surgical Technician to join our team at Providence Swedish First Hill. As a Surgical Technician, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of surgical procedures, working closely with the surgical team to provide exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and maintain the operating room, ensuring all necessary equipment and supplies are available and in good working order.
  • Assist the surgical team with patient positioning, draping, and preparation for surgery.
  • Maintain accurate records of surgical procedures, including instrument counts and sponge counts.
  • Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure a safe and efficient surgical environment.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date on the latest surgical techniques and technologies.
Requirements
  • Certificate of completion of a surgical technician vocational program or equivalent training.
  • Washington Surgical Technologist Registration.
  • National Provider BLS - American Heart Association.
