About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Surgical Technician to join our team at Swedish First Hill. As a Surgical Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of surgical procedures, working closely with the surgical team to provide exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and maintain surgical instruments, equipment, and supplies
  • Assist the surgical team during procedures, including positioning patients and handling instruments
  • Maintain a sterile environment and adhere to infection control protocols
  • Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure efficient and effective surgical procedures
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date on the latest surgical techniques and technologies
Requirements
  • Certificate of completion of a surgical technician vocational program or equivalent training
  • Washington Surgical Technologist Registration
  • National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
  • 6 months of experience in a hospital operating room (preferred)
