Innova Solutions is currently seeking a Biochemical Research Specialist
Position Type: 12 Month Contract
Location: Bothell, WA
Compensation: $30/HR - $38/HR

We are looking for a skilled Biochemist or Chemist with 2-4 years of relevant experience in the industry to support high-throughput bioconjugation and analysis of antibody-drug conjugates (ADCs) within our core conjugation team in Research. This role is essential in advancing preclinical initiatives aimed at developing innovative antibody-based therapies.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Operate a liquid handling robot (Tecan).
2. Conduct analytical characterization of antibodies and ADCs utilizing techniques such as HPLC, LC/MS, and spectroscopy.
3. Prepare, purify, and characterize ADCs using established conjugation methods.
4. Generate data and reports, including regular discussions of findings with management.
5. Maintain effective communication with team members regarding data and ADC delivery timelines.
6. Prepare essential reagents and manage inventory.
7. Ensure routine laboratory cleanliness and equipment upkeep.

Required Qualifications:
- A minimum of 2 years of post-baccalaureate laboratory experience in either an academic or industry setting, along with a BA/BS or MS degree in biochemistry, chemistry, or a related discipline.
- Proficiency in performing analytical chromatography of proteins.
- Willingness to handle potent cytotoxic substances while adhering to safety protocols.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience with liquid handling robots (Tecan Fluent), conducting plate-based (96-well) experiments, and analytical protein LC/MS.
- Ideal candidates will have hands-on experience with bio-conjugation techniques.

Candidates should possess strong communication skills and a keen attention to detail.

Compensation and Benefits:
Compensation Range: $30/HR - $38/HR
