Media Sales Representative Opportunity

We're seeking a creative and energetic media sales representative to join our team at Metro Publishing Services. The successful candidate will represent a line of print and digital marketing products throughout the Bay Area, influencing where people shop, find entertainment, and spend their leisure time.

As a media sales representative, you'll help local and regional businesses gain new customers while making a difference in local communities by supporting local journalism. You'll bring great ideas to a wide variety of retailers and business professionals, and help them build market share amongst active consumers using multi-media marketing solutions.

Responsibilities:

  • Outside sales presentations, face-to-face consultations, and video conferences with key decision makers
  • Ability to work with local clients to learn objectives and opportunities
  • Prospecting local markets to continuously fill sales pipeline and open new accounts
  • Fearless cold-calling and lead generation
  • Sale of print and digital marketing solutions, newsletters, multiple websites, email, promotions, and events
  • Oversight of client campaigns and regular communication of performance results
  • Meeting and exceeding monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue goals
  • Maintaining client database, account information, scheduling of appointments, and prospecting calls
