Role Overview: Index Governance Automation Specialist
The Team:
The Index Governance Operations team is committed to upholding the Index Governance policies and procedures, focusing on index methodologies, consultations, regulatory operations, and workflows and platforms. This global team plays a pivotal role in index oversight and collaborates extensively across the organization.
Key Responsibilities and Contributions:
As an Index Governance Automation Specialist, you will lead initiatives to identify opportunities for enhancing processes that support the comprehensive index governance lifecycle. This prominent role will be part of the Index Governance Operations team and will provide guidance on the implementation of various controls and processes.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Collaborating with stakeholders to pinpoint gaps or potential enhancements in current processes
- Proposing the adoption of new tools and platforms to bolster Index Governance activities and improve efficiency
- Defining project scope, identifying key stakeholders, roles & responsibilities, and resource needs for new processes
- Executing other strategic projects or tasks as directed by the Head of Index Governance Operations
- Managing projects focused on process improvement opportunities
S&P Global indicates that the expected base salary range for this position is $120K to $135K USD. The final base salary will be determined based on the individual's geographic location, experience level, skill set, training, licenses, and certifications.
In addition to base compensation, this role is eligible for an annual incentive plan. This position does not qualify for additional compensation such as an annual incentive bonus or sales commission plan.

Desired Qualifications:
Essential Qualifications:
- Hands-on experience with Power Platform - Power Automate (both cloud and desktop), Power Apps, Virtual Agent, Power BI, and Dataverse, along with integration of these tools with other platforms
- Strong understanding of Solutions and Pipelines within Power Platform
- Extensive knowledge of PowerQuery and DAX in Power Platform
- Deep understanding of Relational Database and SQL
- Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions (Business Analyst experience is advantageous)
- Direct experience in re-engineering and streamlining business processes
- Experience with Agile methodologies
- Capability to thrive in a dynamic environment with the potential for rapid deadlines
- Strong time management skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- General understanding of indices
This role is limited to individuals with indefinite right to work in the United States.
