Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Medical Coder to join our team at TEKsystems. As a Medical Coder, you will be responsible for coding procedures done within various departments, working with ICD10 codes, and making edits and corrections to payments as needed. You will also be speaking with insurance companies and clinics to determine proper codes and billing for procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

* Coding for procedures done within various departments
* Working with ICD10 codes
* Making edits and corrections to payments as needed

Requirements:

* Must have CPC OR CPC-A certification
* Experience with E&M Services Coding a plus
* Must have both commercial payor and Medicare experience
* Experience in a teaching setting is a must
* Familiar with Epic and Athena/GE/IDX
