Job Summary
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Medical Imaging Specialist to join our team at the University of Maryland Medical System.
Key Responsibilities
- Retrieve and process patient charts in a timely manner, ensuring accurate and efficient documentation.
- Perform quality review to ensure high-quality scanning and indexing of patient records.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- One year of experience in a hospital medical record department or similar setting, with a focus on quality analysis or document imaging.
- Strong leadership, analytical, and organizational skills, with excellent customer service skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Two years of experience in document imaging in a hospital medical record department.
