Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Provider Privileging Specialist to join our team at Baltimore Medical System. As a key member of our Privileging and Credentialing team, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our privileging and credentialing database systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage all aspects of the privileging and re-privileging processes for medical providers, ensuring compliance with federal and state standards, as well as The Joint Commission and National Committee for Quality Assurance standards.
  • Maintain up-to-date data for each provider in credentialing databases and online systems.
  • Monitor and facilitate the timely renewal of licenses and certifications for all healthcare providers, facilities, and services.
  • Engage in frequent communication with internal and external contacts to resolve discrepancies, clarify questions, and reach contractual agreements.

Requirements:

  • A High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience is required.
  • Bachelor's degree in business management, healthcare administration, or a related field is preferred.
  • Minimum of two years of experience in privileging and credentialing processes within a healthcare setting.

Working Hours: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM.
