Hourly Rate: $19.50 - $23.00

Position Summary:
In collaboration with the Program Director, this role is essential in managing and overseeing the shelter operations. The primary goal is to assist guests in regaining stability and successfully transitioning to permanent housing solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assess clients' strengths and needs to ensure adherence to the DHCD monthly Re-housing Plan.
  • Oversee the daily well-being and activities of clients.
  • Engage in meetings with clients, staff, and management teams.
  • Contribute to program development and budget planning.
  • Supervise staff schedules and arrange coverage as necessary.
  • Facilitate communication with residents' support services.
  • Participate in regular consultation sessions with the Program Director.
  • Document log notes, progress updates, and other required records.
  • Guide, mentor, and oversee staff during scheduled shifts.
  • Respond promptly and effectively to crises through a 24-hour on-call system.
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned by the Program Director.


Qualifications:
  • Bilingual candidates (Haitian Creole / French / Spanish) are encouraged to apply.
  • Bachelor's Degree and management experience preferred.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Experience with low-income populations or individuals affected by mental health challenges and/or substance use.
  • Strong skills in verbal and written communication, teamwork, organization, and technology usage.
