Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Team Lead to join our team at Allegion. As a Team Lead, you will be responsible for supporting the manufacturing process by ensuring the daily operations of the production floor run smoothly, meeting production targets, and maintaining high standards of quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead, mentor, train, and motivate a team of production workers.
  • Assign tasks and monitor the performance of team members, communicating opportunities for improvement to Supervisor.
  • Conduct regular team meetings to communicate goals, expectations, and updates.
  • Ensure assembled door parts meet quality standards.
  • Identify and resolve any issues or defects in the assembly process.
  • Ensure team is following safety protocols and conducting assembly work in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area and properly store tools and equipment after use.
  • Collaborate with other team members to address any challenges or improvements in the assembly process.
  • Ensure team is documenting and recording performance as well as any issues or defects encountered during assembly or manufacturing.
  • Ensure team is adhering to production schedules and meeting production targets.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED, Associates or Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
  • Reliable transportation.
  • Ability to work overtime as needed.
  • Understanding of assembly techniques, tools, and equipment used in the manufacturing process.
  • Attention to detail to ensure products are assembled correctly and meet quality standards.
  • Good time management skills to meet production goals.
  • Ability to communicate with team members, supervisors, and other departments.
  • Problem-solving skills to troubleshoot issues that may arise during the assembly process.
  • Ability to demonstrate manual dexterity and stand for long periods of time.
  • Ability to move/lift up to 75+ pounds.
