Job Title: Senior Cloud Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Cloud Engineer to join our global Cloud Engineering team at Moody's. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for deploying, managing, and supporting cloud infrastructure and cloud networking solutions across Microsoft Azure, Amazon AWS, and Google GCP.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deploy and manage cloud infrastructure solutions across multiple platforms, with a strong focus on cloud networking.
  • Implement best practices for cloud resource provisioning, configuration management, monitoring, and security.
  • Optimize cloud network design, performance, reliability, and cost through the use of appropriate services to implement hybrid and multi-cloud network architectures.
  • Develop and maintain infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform to automate deployment and configuration tasks.
  • Drive continuous improvement through the adoption of automation and orchestration.
  • Provide expert technical advice and solve complex problems.
  • Interact with internal business partners, architects, network, cyber-security, finance, and other groups to understand project requirements and deliver scalable, reliable solutions.
Requirements:
  • 5+ years' proven experience managing production solutions in Azure, AWS, and/or GCP.
  • Strong knowledge of cloud services and their best practices, including account/subscription management, compute, storage, databases, serverless, IAM, etc.
  • Strong knowledge of cloud networking concepts and services, including virtual networks, network segmentation, VPNs, load balancers, firewalls, DNS, etc.
  • Strong experience and understanding of Infrastructure-as-Code tools such as Terraform, Azure CLI, and AWS CLI.
  • Experience with network monitoring and troubleshooting tools, such as Azure Network Watcher, AWS VPC Flow Logs, or GCP Network Intelligence Center.
  • Experience with Git, GitHub, Azure DevOps, or other version control systems.
  • Experience automating repetitive actions, including IAM policies, image creation, patching, tagging.
  • Experience with Linux and Windows operating systems.
  • Experience working with ITSM systems such as ServiceNow or Jira.
  • Experience with monitoring tools such as Nagios, Zenoss, LogicMonitor, or similar.
  • Any exposure to container-based workloads or Generative AI and LLMs is advantageous.
Preferred Skills:
  • Professional certifications, such as AZ-305, AZ-700, SAP-C02, ANS-C01, Google PCA, or equivalent.

  • Excellent communication and documentation skills.
