Position Overview

As a Social Service Specialist III, your role will involve delivering specialized support and crisis intervention to individuals requiring urgent assistance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conducting comprehensive interviews and evaluations to assess client needs and eligibility, providing crisis intervention as needed.
  • Maintaining precise and up-to-date client documentation.
  • Connecting clients with appropriate services and resources.
  • Providing support for additional agency programs as necessary.
  • Collaborating with social service organizations and community resources to meet client needs.
  • Overseeing case files and service documentation.
  • Offering referral information to clients and the public to strengthen agency relations.

Qualifications for Social Service Specialist III:

  • A minimum of three years of experience in health or human services support, encompassing client assessments and collaboration with community resources.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in applying relevant laws, regulations, and procedures.
  • At least six months of experience in developing client service plans and assessing eligibility for services.
  • Six months of experience in maintaining accurate records.
  • Six months of experience utilizing information systems for data management.
