Critical Care Nurse

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our team in a PCU setting. The ideal candidate will have experience in critical care and be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities- Provide high-quality patient care in a PCU setting
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Monitor and manage patient conditions, including trauma patients with multi-system injuries
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
- Perform moderate sedation for procedures such as chest tube insertion and wound debridement
- Active state RN license or compact license
- EPIC experience
- Vent experience
- BLS & ACLS certification
- Ability to read and interpret ECG strips
- NIH certification or willingness to obtain
- Level 1 or 2 experience in a PCU or ICU setting
Our PCU is a step-down/advanced care unit that focuses on trauma patients with multi-system injuries. We see a combination of neuro, ortho, and surgical patients, with a high volume of drips, including heparin, Cardizem, insulin, and ketamine. Our staff are trained to perform moderate sedation for procedures and are able to manage complex patient conditions.
