About the Role

Cedarhurst Senior Living is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team. As a key member of our healthcare staff, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our residents.

Responsibilities
  • Plan, Implement, and Evaluate Nursing Care: Develop and implement individualized care plans for residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.
  • Collaborate with Care Staff: Work closely with the Director of Nursing and care staff to provide direction and oversight, ensuring seamless care delivery.
  • Communicate Effectively: Maintain open and transparent communication with residents, family members, and community staff to ensure their needs are met and concerns are addressed.
  • Conduct Pre-Admission Assessments: Conduct thorough assessments of residents to identify their needs and develop personalized care plans.
  • Provide Education and Training: Educate residents, family members, and care staff on various aspects of care, including dementia management and senior living best practices.
  • Meet Physical Demands: Meet the physical demands of the role, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
Requirements
  • Education and Licensure: Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing and current state LPN license.
  • Experience: 1+ years of nursing experience, preferably in a long-term care setting.
  • Certifications: Current CPR certification and ability to obtain any additional certifications as required.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work well under pressure, and a strong commitment to providing high-quality care.
