Key Responsibilities


Execute HVAC control systems programming, troubleshooting, installation, commissioning, and preventative maintenance related to mechanical, electrical, and low voltage control components.


Address service and warranty calls utilizing Johnson Controls configuration and commissioning tools, alongside various hand tools including electrical testing meters and other electronic testing devices.

Deliver front-line technical and repair support through effective communication with Johnson Controls clients. Offer system repair and update recommendations and assist in proposing solutions to Johnson Controls clients.

How You Will Achieve This
Load Johnson Controls field and network level controller software.
Conduct commissioning and system diagnostics for all levels of system controllers and end devices (e.g., sensors, actuators, etc.) and complete all necessary commissioning documentation.
Keep management and JCI contractors or clients informed of job progress and issues.
Calibrate systems using basic electronic testing equipment.
Complete administrative tasks including but not limited to time sheets, expense reports, and on-site documentation.
Document changes and provide information for as-built documentation.
Engage in company-sponsored and self-initiated training to ensure the highest level of knowledge and capability are maintained.
Interact with clients to fully understand their systems and requirements.
Communicate with the JCI contractor or client upon arrival and before departing the work site.
Adhere to all safety standards and participate in required safety training, maintaining a high regard for employee and subcontractor safety.

Qualifications

Required:
2-4 years of experience with Building Automation Systems (BAS), including Honeywell, Siemens, Tridium, Trane, Automated, etc.
Strong understanding of HVAC systems, sequences, and applications.
Demonstrated technical aptitude in mechanical and electro-mechanical fields.
Ability to utilize hand and power tools, as well as electrical testing equipment such as a multimeter.
Solid knowledge base in personal computer usage.
Attention to detail.
Effective communication and listening skills.
