About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Mechanical Team Lead to join our team at Johnson Controls. As a Technical Team Lead, you will be responsible for leading a team of 12-15 field technicians in the industrial HVAC and plumbing services industry.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of field technicians in the industrial HVAC and plumbing services industry
  • Provide top-notch offerings for yourself and your team, including factory certification through our Service Technical Academy (STA)
  • Develop and manage all types of quoted work, including interaction with customers and attention to detail
  • Ensure compliance with Johnson Controls' internal policies and procedures
  • Develop and implement safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive business growth and improve operational efficiency
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in the industrial HVAC and plumbing services industry
  • Valid driver's license and appropriate licenses to work with refrigerants, boiler, and steam operational and service knowledge
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Computer literacy and technical savvy
  • Ability to develop, close, and manage all types of quoted work
