Nurse Practitioner Physician

Providence Medical Forensic Program is seeking a skilled Nurse Practitioner Physician to join its new Providence SAFE Center clinic in Portland, Oregon. This unique outpatient medical forensic clinic provides comprehensive, trauma-informed care to individuals who have experienced sexual, physical, and/or psychological violence.
Key Responsibilities:- Perform physical examinations and collect evidence
- Administer medications and provide counseling and/or referrals to appropriate resources
- Work in a collaborative multidisciplinary team with forensic nurses and nurse practitioners, law enforcement, and prosecutors
- Minimum of 2-years clinical experience as a Nurse Practitioner in an acute and/or ambulatory care setting
- Previous experience as a Forensic Nurse is strongly preferred, though willing to train
- Required licensure Oregon State Board of Nursing APRN; Board-certified in Family Medicine; Oregon DEA
