Nurse Practice Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Nurse Practice Specialist to join our Surgical Oncology team at Emory Healthcare. As a key member of our nursing leadership team, you will provide clinical and educational leadership to promote and maintain quality improvement in patient care.
Key Responsibilities- Collaborate with administrative leaders, educators, nurses, and physicians to lead clinical practice and promote quality improvement.
- Contribute to the advancement of nursing practice at the unit, system, local, state, national, and international levels.
- Participate in and lead organizational and hospital-based professional activities to maintain and contribute knowledge of current trends, practices, and developments.
- Direct and manage process improvement projects and initiatives that align with EHC's strategic plan for innovation in healthcare.
- Influence and guide direct care for complex patients with multi-system issues, including biophysical, psycho-emotional, and spiritual issues.
- Professional Nursing Certification required (CCRN, CEN, OCN, etc.).
- Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) degree.
- Three years of clinical nursing experience as a Registered Nurse with at least two years of recent experience in the area of concentration.
- BLS and ACLS certifications required.
