Key ResponsibilitiesAs a Practical Nurse Specialist, you will:
- Provide both direct and indirect nursing care to patients and their families in standard nursing scenarios under the guidance of a registered nurse or licensed provider.
- Assist healthcare professionals in ensuring the comfort, care, and treatment of patients.
- Conduct daily assessments of medical supplies and maintain treatment areas in accordance with infection control protocols.
- Document patient vital signs and measurements accurately in the electronic medical record.
The ideal candidate will possess:
- A diploma from an accredited Practical Nursing Program.
- A minimum of two years of patient care experience within the last five years is preferred.
- Proficiency in computer skills.
- Current BLS (CPR) Healthcare provider certification; ACLS may be required in specific departments.
