Support Operations Center Technician

Job Overview
ScaleMatrix, a leading provider of world-class colocation and cloud services, is seeking a motivated individual to join its Support Operations Center team. As a Tier-1 Support Technician, you will play a critical role in delivering exceptional client service and support.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical support for network systems, data center operations, and client services.
- Act as a liaison between internal and external clients, ensuring timely and effective communication.
- Assist in provisioning environmental, networking, security, and computer systems to meet client needs.
- Respond to client support inquiries in a professional and informative manner.
- Continuously learn and develop technical skills to add value to the SOC and ScaleMatrix.
- Collaborate with team members to coordinate efforts and support clients.
- Monitor and report any issues with critical systems.
- Communicate with other departments to execute change management policies and procedures.
Requirements
- Ability to learn through research, technical certification, and on-the-job training.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Working knowledge of Windows and Linux-based operating systems.
- Basic network switching and routing concepts.
- Strong trouble-shooting skills.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Education / Competencies
- High School Diploma / GED.
- Certifications in the IT field are a plus.
