Job Title: Director of Business Development

Are you a seasoned sales professional looking to drive growth and innovation in a dynamic sales department? As our Director of Business Development, you will be at the forefront of creating and growing client relationships, increasing revenue, and implementing sales strategies to achieve company goals.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute sales plans to identify new revenue opportunities
  • Solicit business from existing and new clients and strategic partners
  • Engage with industry players, including tenants, owners, GCs, project managers, architects, engineers, and more
  • Identify, follow up, and close leads and opportunities on new and existing business, developing a viable sales pipeline
  • Build and develop relationships through industry networking, client events, and market analysis
  • Collaborate with partners and team members to devise strategic approaches to existing and past clients


Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree or relevant experience
  • 5-7 years of sales experience
  • 2-5 years' experience in the building materials industry, building industry, or experience calling on architects, designers, and engineers
  • Demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and internet research
  • Superb communication and interpersonal skills
