Key Responsibilities- Develop and Implement Energy Efficiency Initiatives: Design and implement a comprehensive energy reduction plan for the campus, utilizing building automation systems to optimize energy usage.
- Document and Analyze Energy Systems: Document hardware systems and performance in facilities, collect nameplate information, and measure performance to identify areas for improvement.
- Identify and Prioritize Energy Projects: Identify measures, additional sensors, and information required to improve system efficiency and efficacy, and expand on the existing Hot Water Readiness List by providing additional details and budget estimates.
- Present and Execute Energy Projects: Present identified projects to the Director of Utilities Distribution & Energy Management (UD&EM) for approval and execution, and support the Energy Conservation team with calculations and detailed investigations for projects.
- Electrification and Energy Optimization: Identify, review, and analyze electrification options for processing steam loads and domestic hot water loads on campus, and perform all other related functions as assigned.
- Education and Experience: Minimum bachelor's degree in engineering, energy management, or related field, with a minimum of five years' experience in energy management, consulting, or mechanical design.
- Skills and Qualifications: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, building automation system and data analysis experience, excellent communication and presentation skills, ability to work collaboratively in a team environment, and proven record of successful project management and execution.
- Compensation Range: The compensation range for this position is $85,000 to $115,000 per year.
