Job Summary:

The Chief Clinical Officer is responsible for overseeing the clinical services at the Arizona State Hospital. This includes managing the Psychology, Rehabilitation, and Social Services Departments, as well as developing and revising treatment, educational, and therapeutic programs. The CCO will work closely with the CEO, CMO, and CNO to ensure that clinical services are aligned with the hospital's strategic goals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement clinical programs and services that meet the needs of patients and residents
  • Collaborate with administrators and other disciplines to develop and revise treatment, educational, and therapeutic programs
  • Direct the work of professional staff and establish high departmental standards
  • Work effectively with others to achieve clinical and administrative goals
  • Speak and write effectively to communicate clinical and administrative information
Requirements:
  • Doctor of Psychology (Psy.D), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) degree
  • Corresponding Arizona license in good standing with the Board of Behavioral Health Examiners
  • Valid AZ State Driver's License
  • Ability to obtain a valid Level One Fingerprint Clearance Card
