About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated individual to join our team as an Energy Storage Policy Analyst. This is a unique opportunity to work with a development firm focused on energy storage projects, helping to transform the grid into a renewable, resilient, and affordable system.

Key Responsibilities
  • Track and analyze policy priorities to support East Point's energy storage goals across federal, state, and ISO/RTO levels.
  • Assess the impact of legislative and regulatory policies on the company's business and coordinate with project development, business development, EPC, asset management, and accounting teams.
  • Develop advocacy strategies for specific policy goals and write comments, testimony, and public-facing statements positioning East Point as a leader in the energy storage space.
Requirements
  • A strong passion for clean energy development and the environment.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and excellent communication skills.
  • A self-starter with a desire to succeed and a focus on creating value.
What We Offer

A paid internship of up to 40 hours/week during regular hours of operation, with a preference for longer commitments. The role is based in Charlottesville, VA, and offers a unique opportunity to gain experience in the energy storage industry.

Estimated salary: $15-$18 per hour.
