Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated Community Outreach Coordinator to join our team at Mental Health America of Central Carolinas. As a key member of our outreach team, you will play a vital role in expanding our presence in Cabarrus County and promoting our mental health programs and services.

**About the Role:**
This is a part-time position that requires approximately 20 hours of work per week. You will work closely with our Cabarrus County Community Outreach Manager to establish and maintain relationships with local stakeholders, including government officials, businesses, schools, and faith-based organizations. Your primary responsibility will be to raise awareness about our mental health initiatives, enhance community engagement efforts, and identify new opportunities for outreach in Cabarrus County.

**Key Responsibilities:**
* Assist the Cabarrus County Community Outreach Manager in establishing and maintaining relationships with community organizations, local government officials, business leaders, faith communities, and schools.
* Provide logistical and administrative support for community meetings, events, and outreach activities as directed.
* Represent Mental Health America of Central Carolinas at community events and forums, focusing on visibility and support for our services under the supervision of the Outreach Manager.
* Help coordinate and execute outreach activities, ensuring all tasks align with the Outreach Manager's strategic plan.
* Support the Outreach Manager in organizing and promoting QPR (Question, Persuade, Refer) Suicide Prevention Training and Mental Health First Aid Training sessions.
* Collaborate with the MHA Education Team to handle logistics and participant coordination for training events.
* Assist with planning and executing program-related activities in support of MHA's initiatives, including ParentVOICE, Education, Compeer, and Counseling, ensuring alignment with clear directives provided by supervisors.

**Requirements:**
* Associate's degree in human services or a related field is preferred but not required.
* 2-3 years of experience in community outreach, public relations, or program coordination is highly preferred.
* Bilingual (Spanish/English) with strong verbal and written communication skills.
* Comfortable speaking effectively to groups of community members, service providers, and stakeholders.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, email communication, and conducting internet research.
* Demonstrates a high level of professionalism, integrity, and confidentiality.
* Self-motivated, adaptable, and capable of working both independently and collaboratively within a team.
