We are seeking a highly motivated and bilingual individual to join our team as a Part-Time Cabarrus Outreach Specialist. This role will focus on expanding our presence in the community by building relationships with local stakeholders, promoting our programs and services, and raising awareness about mental health initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Establish and maintain relationships with community organizations, government officials, business leaders, faith communities, and schools to expand our reach and impact.
  • Represent us in community meetings and events, including civic organizations, public forums, and outreach opportunities.
  • Assist in delivering QPR Suicide Prevention Training and Mental Health First Aid Training to various community groups.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in human services or a related field preferred but not required.
  • 2-3 years of experience in community outreach, public relations, or program coordination is highly preferred.
  • Bilingual (Spanish/English) with strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to speak effectively to groups of community members, service providers, and stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite, email communication, and conducting internet research.

Salary Range: $35,000 - $45,000 per year, depending on experience. We also offer a generous benefits package and opportunities for professional growth and development.
