Position Overview
The Project Manager is accountable for the comprehensive leadership of new product development initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Responsibilities encompass, but are not limited to:
- Managing project-specific P & L.
- Leading and overseeing all facets of the project team, including financials, timelines, sourcing, team dynamics, and customer service.
- Acting as a liaison between Sales, Senior Management, and the project team to communicate expectations and deliver results.
- Organizing and coordinating multi-disciplinary teams for new product development projects.
- Planning and executing projects effectively, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.
- Assessing new business opportunities, including detailed cost analysis.
- Maintaining a high level of customer interaction.
- Ensuring positive and effective communication with customers, team members, management, and external sales representatives.
All employees are required to comply with DEA, EPA, FDA, and cGMP regulations as they pertain to the operation of the Company, as well as adhere to all company safety protocols. Regular and prompt attendance is expected from all employees. Additional duties related to departmental objectives may be assigned as necessary.
Qualifications and Skills
- Familiarity with cGMP regulations.
- Experience in direct customer contact and relationship management.
- Proven ability to manage multi-disciplinary teams.
- Understanding of business plans and financial implications.
- Strong project management skills with high attention to detail.
- Proficient in Windows-based computer applications.
Education, Experience & Licensing Requirements
- A degree in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering, preferably with an advanced degree.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry.
- Experience in overall management and responsibility for new product development project teams.
