Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Project Manager to join our Strategic Implementation team at the University of Iowa. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for planning, directing, and delivering project activities through the entire project life cycle.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead strategic initiatives and identify business needs to provide effective solutions and manage necessary resources.
  • Direct project scope, planning, and tracking while meeting timeline and budget goals.
  • Translate complex information into simple, actionable insights and communicate effectively with all levels of the organization.
  • Manage multiple projects and prioritize work to meet deadlines.
  • Develop and deliver progress reports, proposals, requirements documentation, and presentations.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in business, health care, or a related field or an equivalent amount of education and experience.
  • 5+ years of project management experience.
  • Outstanding project management skills to lead strategic initiatives and manage resources.
  • Experience in strategy implementation and project management.
  • Ability to translate complex information into simple, actionable insights.
  • Demonstrated experience working with and managing relationships with senior-level administration or leaders.
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience in health care or a related field.
  • Progressively responsible experience with operational planning and facilitating strategic initiatives.
  • Project Management certification (PMP) or relevant project management certification.
