Your Role

We are seeking a Senior HR Business Partner to join our team. As a key member of our HR function, you will be responsible for supporting assigned teams, functions, and departments with all people-related activities, including recruitment, training and development, culture and engagement, employee relations, performance management, and compensation and benefits.

You will serve as an advocate and consultant to management on human resource-related issues, acting as an employee champion and change agent. You will assess and anticipate HR-related needs and communicate them proactively within the HR department and to business management.

Responsibilities
  1. Culture Advocate and Employee Experience Champion: Serve as a sounding board for employee questions and concerns, aggregating feedback from various sources to guide recommendations and actions to improve employee satisfaction with our workplace culture.
  2. Trusted Partner in Talent Development: Work with leaders to conduct talent reviews and build training plans, collecting, aggregating, and tracking individual and team training and development needs.
  3. Go-To Resource for Employee Relations/HR Compliance: Collaborate with the Site HR Director to provide advice, coaching, and counsel to leaders and employees on HR programs, policies, and procedures, employment and labor laws, and conflict resolution.
  4. Recruiting and Talent Attraction Partner: Support managers in workforce planning, job requisition forms, job description development, and interviewing to ensure staffing needs are met.
  5. Supports Industry Leading Rewards and Recognition Strategies: Collaborate with managers on talent review, supporting merit, promotion, and salary adjustment processes, and providing advice and guidance on recognition and appreciation support programs.
  6. Special Projects Resource: Welcome the opportunity to lend a helping hand and be an additional resource in support of special projects that arise in the HR team.
Requirements

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced HR professional with a strong background in HR business partnering, talent development, and employee relations. You should have a combination of 7-10 years of relevant education and/or work experience, with experience working with professional, scientific, and manufacturing workforces preferred.

You should have knowledge of state and federal employment laws relating to key areas of policy, benefits, and HR. SPHR or SHRM-SCP certification is a plus.
