Senior Project Manager Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Project Manager to lead and manage mid to large scale commercial and industrial construction projects. This is a permanent position offering a unique opportunity to oversee all aspects of project management, including budgeting, risk management, contract management, quality control, and scheduling.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 10 years of experience in the commercial or industrial construction industry, a bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field, and exceptional leadership, strategic planning, and team management skills. They will be responsible for overseeing all stages of project life cycle management from initiation to completion, managing project budgets, identifying and assessing potential risks and issues, negotiating and managing contracts with subcontractors, suppliers, and stakeholders, and ensuring the highest standards of quality control at all stages of the project.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all stages of project life cycle management from initiation to completion.
  • Manage project budgets, ensuring that all work is carried out within the financial parameters set.
  • Identify, assess, and manage potential risks and issues that could impact project deliverables.
  • Negotiate and manage contracts with subcontractors, suppliers, and stakeholders.
  • Ensure the highest standards of quality control at all stages of the project.
  • Provide strong leadership to project teams, fostering a positive work environment that encourages collaboration and innovation.
  • Develop and implement strategic plans to ensure project success.
  • Schedule project timelines, ensuring that all tasks are completed on time and within budget.
  • Collaborate with various teams and stakeholders, ensuring effective communication and mutual understanding.
  • Implement and enforce construction safety regulations and standards.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in the commercial or industrial construction industry.
  • A bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience managing mid to large commercial and industrial construction projects ($10M+).
  • Exceptional budget management, risk management, contract management, quality control, leadership, strategic planning, team management, and scheduling skills.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex information to a variety of audiences.
  • Strong critical thinking skills, with the ability to identify and solve problems effectively and efficiently.
  • A deep understanding of construction safety regulations and standards.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in a project management role.
