We are seeking a talented individual for the role of Manufacturing/Continuous Improvement Engineer, essential for enhancing operational efficiency within our manufacturing and supply chain sectors. In this position, you will spearhead initiatives, refine processes, and cultivate a culture of ongoing improvement to ensure seamless operations and elevate customer satisfaction. Additionally, you will oversee the project aimed at expanding our manufacturing capabilities and transitioning a product line into our facility.

Key Responsibilities

Project Leadership: Direct cross-departmental projects aimed at enhancing material flow, inventory management, and operational productivity. Work collaboratively with a diverse team to devise innovative solutions that create a significant impact from the outset.

Design and Coordination: Engage in the design of tools and fixtures while coordinating manufacturing activities.

Cost Management: Lead cost-control initiatives focusing on consumable CNC tooling, raw material utilization in production, and variable expenses including labor and overhead.

Data-Driven Strategies: Leverage your analytical expertise to scrutinize data, recognize patterns, and implement solutions that boost productivity, lower costs, and yield measurable outcomes.

Continuous Improvement Implementation: Drive initiatives aimed at waste reduction through Lean methodologies, including Autonomation, Value Stream Mapping, Cycle Time vs TAKT Time, Kaizen, 5S, Line/Cell Design, Material Flow, Visual Management, TPM, and Root Cause Problem Solving.

New Product Integration Support: Assist in managing the integration of new products with a focus on manufacturability, process control, equipment capability, and personnel requirements.

Qualifications

A Bachelor's degree or a minimum of 5 years of experience in manufacturing settings, encompassing Operations, Engineering, Supply Chain, Quality, or Process Improvement.

Practical experience in CNC metals manufacturing.

Proven ability to mentor, instruct, and guide leaders in developing continuous improvement strategies, influencing decision-making, and driving initiatives within plant operations.

Exceptional leadership, organizational, project management, and interpersonal skills.

Familiarity with CAD software, particularly Solidworks, is advantageous.
