Job Overview

As a key member of our team, you will focus on enhancing and standardizing manufacturing processes across our facilities. Your expertise will be crucial in collaborating with plant resources to implement innovative solutions aimed at boosting operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manufacturing Systems Development: Lead the establishment and standardization of advanced manufacturing systems across our facilities to enhance operational efficiency, including training and capacity systems.
  • Project Oversight: Utilize project management methodologies to monitor project milestones and guide site leaders in effective project management strategies. Regularly communicate project statuses to stakeholders.
  • Interdepartmental Collaboration: Work closely with various departments to ensure that implemented systems are effectively driving improvements in critical performance indicators.
  • Performance Analysis: Continuously track and report on the progress of improvement initiatives, identifying successes and challenges. Employ data-driven methods to analyze performance metrics and provide actionable insights.
  • Continuous Improvement Initiatives: Recommend solutions to address inefficiencies and bottlenecks in manufacturing processes, striving for enhanced operational performance.
  • Strategic Operational Planning: Assist in the development and execution of a comprehensive continuous improvement strategy that aligns with organizational goals.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations Management, or a related discipline; advanced degrees or relevant certifications (e.g., Lean Six Sigma) are advantageous.
  • A minimum of 10 years of hands-on experience in a manufacturing setting, with a focus on the management or establishment of manufacturing systems.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills to effectively engage with cross-functional teams and drive operational change.
  • Proficient in project management and change management principles; project management certification is a plus.
  • Demonstrated success in leading initiatives that result in measurable operational efficiencies.
  • Experience with the implementation of electronic systems, collaborating with IT teams to deploy business software.
  • Willingness to relocate and work on-site, with some travel required.

Knowles Corporation is dedicated to providing a fair and competitive compensation package for all employees. The starting base salary for this position is projected to be between $100,000 and $120,000 annually, with individual compensation determined by various factors.
