Our TeamCooley Dickinson Medical Group Orthopedics & Sports Medicine is a team of experienced professionals who specialize in the diagnosis and treatment of musculoskeletal disorders. Our holistic approach to orthopedics involves coordination of personalized services within the practice and with other providers to ensure a comprehensive range of care for patients of all ages.
We have combined expertise in all major orthopedic specialties, including sports medicine, orthopedic trauma, hand & upper extremities, joint replacement, and spine care. Our team is dedicated to providing exceptional patient care and making a positive impact on the lives of those we serve.
Role OverviewWe are seeking a Per Diem Patient Services Representative to help cover vacations, call outs, and staffing shortages. The ideal candidate will be a well-rounded customer service professional who can multi-task, prioritize, and thrive in a high-volume outpatient setting.
The Per Diem Patient Services Representative will serve as the face of our medical group and play a key role in managing the patient experience on the reception/administrative support side. We are looking for someone who can provide exceptional customer service, work effectively in a team environment, and maintain confidentiality and discretion when handling sensitive patient information.
Qualifications- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Familiarity with insurance payers preferred
- Minimum of six (6) months reception or customer service experience required, preferably in a healthcare setting
- Demonstrated knowledge of medical terminology preferred
- Bilingual Spanish/English preferred
