Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Office Assistant II to join our team at Kaiser Permanente. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide exceptional patient care and support to our patients and families.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine patient care tasks, including vital signs, wound care, and patient transportation.
  • Assist with patient exams and procedures, and provide education to patients and families.
  • Respond to patient messages and provide timely communication to our healthcare team.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, and ensure compliance with departmental policies and procedures.
  • Participate in quality assurance activities and contribute to the improvement of our patient care services.
Requirements
  • Completion of a program in Medical Office Assistant with Certification and equivalent of six (6) months experience or twelve (12) months equivalent experience in lieu of certification required.
  • Ability to give and follow oral and written instructions, and work effectively with the public.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of sterile techniques and valid BLS Prescription call in for ambulatory care setting.
