Space Resources Multiphysics Simulation Engineer III

We are seeking a highly skilled Multiphysics Simulation Engineer to join our Space Resources Program at Blue Origin. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing multiphysics simulations to support the design and development of our space-based systems.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and maintain complex multiphysics models to simulate fluid dynamics, heat transfer, and other relevant phenomena.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate simulation results into design and development processes.
- Conduct thorough analysis and validation of simulation results to ensure accuracy and reliability.
- Develop and maintain Python scripts and other tools to support simulation workflows.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in multiphysics simulation tools and techniques.
- M.S. in aerospace engineering, mechanical engineering, chemical engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 4 years of experience in multiphysics simulation and analysis.
- Proficiency in Python and other programming languages.
- Experience with multiphysics simulation tools such as Ansys Fluent, COMSOL, and StarCCM+.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ph.D. in a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in multiphysics simulation and analysis.
- Experience in high-temperature thermal modeling.
- Experience in aerospace technology development environment.
