About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Multiphysics Simulation Engineer to join our Space Resources Program at Blue Origin. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing multiphysics simulations to support the design and development of our space-based systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain complex multiphysics models to simulate fluid dynamics, heat transfer, and other relevant phenomena.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate simulation results into design and development processes.
  • Conduct thorough analysis and validation of simulation results to ensure accuracy and reliability.
  • Develop and maintain Python scripts and other tools to support simulation workflows.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in multiphysics simulation tools and techniques.
Requirements
  • M.S. in aerospace engineering, mechanical engineering, chemical engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in multiphysics simulation and analysis.
  • Proficiency in Python and other programming languages.
  • Experience with multiphysics simulation tools such as Ansys Fluent, COMSOL, and StarCCM+.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Ph.D. in a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in multiphysics simulation and analysis.
  • Experience in high-temperature thermal modeling.
  • Experience in aerospace technology development environment.
