Your Role:
As a Field Property Claims Specialist, you will investigate and manage property claims, determining liability, gathering information, reviewing coverage, coordinating appraisals, and resolving claims. You will operate in the field, reporting to the Property Claim Manager, and handle homeowner property claims within a designated area.

Compensation:
The compensation range for this position is as follows:
Field Adjuster: Minimum: $55,000 / year, Maximum: $90,000 / year
Senior Field Adjuster: Minimum: $67,000 / year, Maximum: $111,000 / year

Key Responsibilities:
1. Investigate the origin and cause of claims by engaging with relevant parties, including insured individuals, claimants, agents, and contractors.
2. Identify complex issues and seek assistance when necessary, ensuring claims are handled in good faith.
3. Manage both first-party and third-party claims across various policy types and endorsements.
4. Conduct on-site inspections as required, assess damages, and negotiate claims with involved parties.
5. Respond to customer inquiries, make informed decisions, and close files efficiently.
6. Interpret and apply policy documents, leases, and contracts to assigned losses, providing clarity to all parties involved.

Qualifications:
To succeed in this role, candidates should possess:
- Proven experience in delivering customer-focused solutions and support.
- Experience in handling multi-line claims, including both first-party and third-party claims.
- A solid understanding of casualty coverage policies and the claims handling process.

Licensing:
A valid driver's license and an acceptable driving record are required. Candidates must obtain state-specific property casualty claims licensing as necessary.

Travel Requirements:
Willingness to travel up to 10%, with potential catastrophe duty up to 75% as applicable.

Physical Requirements:
This role may involve working in environments with varying conditions, including:
- Ascending or descending ladders and stairs.
- Moving objects weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Visiting locations that may present higher hazards than typical office settings.

Working Conditions:
Be prepared to work in diverse environments, including:
- Low and high temperatures.
- Outdoor elements such as wind and precipitation.
- Noisy and poorly ventilated spaces.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiarity with Xactimate is preferred for the adjuster level and required for the senior adjuster level.
- A minimum of five years of property field claims experience is required for the senior level adjuster.
- Experience in construction, restoration, or mitigation is advantageous.
