About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Service Advisor to join our team at Kahlig Auto Group. As an expert in customer service, you will be responsible for greeting guests, scheduling appointments, and acting as a liaison between customers and service technicians.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to work in a fast-paced environment, and have a passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet service department customers promptly and courteously, demonstrating a positive attitude and setting the tone for a welcoming experience.
  • Listen attentively to customers and clearly communicate repair needs to service technicians, ensuring accurate and timely completion of tasks.
  • Upsell additional services using low-pressure, high-integrity methods that prioritize the customer's needs and preferences.
  • Provide detailed estimates and explanations of repairs, focusing on transparency and trust-building with customers.
  • Adhere to policies on vehicle care and operation, promoting a culture of excellence and safety within the dealership.
  • Follow up with customers throughout the repair process, keeping them informed of progress and exceeding their expectations.
  • Sell and manage extended warranties, highlighting the benefits and value proposition to customers.
  • Inspect repair quality and ensure all work is complete, maintaining the highest standards of quality and attention to detail.
  • Notify customers when vehicles are ready for pickup, providing clear instructions and guidance on next steps.
  • Review and explain repairs and associated costs with customers, addressing any concerns or questions they may have.
  • Handle minor customer complaints and concerns, resolving issues efficiently and effectively.
  • Maintain open communication with the Service Manager, keeping them informed of problems and potential issues.
  • Prioritize customer satisfaction, striving to exceed CSI scores in accordance with dealership standards.
