Westmoor Manufacturing is currently in search of a dedicated Facility Housekeeper to maintain cleanliness and hygiene within our commercial premises.

The successful candidate will possess relevant experience in professional cleaning and demonstrate proficiency in tasks such as mopping, sweeping, dusting, vacuuming, and other essential custodial responsibilities. We are looking for a diligent individual who can uphold a high standard of cleanliness throughout our facility and warehouse. This role requires collaboration with the Facility Maintenance Manager as well as the ability to work independently. Strong adherence to instructions and the capacity to remain focused on tasks are essential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform daily dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, and mopping in various areas including offices, breakrooms, restrooms, and the warehouse.
  • Restock and refill cleaning supplies and toiletries as needed.
  • Manage cleaning supply inventory and request replacements when necessary.
  • Dispose of trash bins on a daily basis.
  • Identify and report maintenance issues such as burnt-out light bulbs or plumbing problems.
  • Conduct monthly deep cleaning and disinfection routines.
  • Clean windows and doors regularly.
  • Adhere to a daily cleaning schedule.
  • Perform weekly cleaning of breakroom refrigerators.
  • Assist the Facility Maintenance Manager with various tasks as required.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in office cleaning is preferred but not essential.
  • Strong organizational and housekeeping skills.
  • Comprehensive understanding of cleaning solutions and their appropriate applications.
  • Familiarity with health and safety regulations.
  • Ability to work effectively both in a team and independently.
  • Physical stamina and the capability to stand for extended periods.
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service abilities.
  • Bi-lingual candidates (English/Spanish) are preferred.
  • Strong time management skills.

Compensation: $16 per hour with a performance review after 90 days.
