Position Overview:

This role entails the management and documentation of work orders through the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS); organizing preventive maintenance, corrective actions, and general service requests; evaluating and prioritizing work orders.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Process incoming work orders efficiently within the CMMS
  • Evaluate the scope of work and accurately assign the appropriate technician
  • Interpret technician feedback to facilitate the completion of work orders
  • Verify the accuracy of work order information against prior data
  • Maintain data integrity for all work order records
  • Develop weekly schedules for maintenance and engineering teams
  • Balance the preventive maintenance workload with available labor
  • Prioritize and schedule additional maintenance requests based on client requirements
  • Lead weekly Planning and Scheduling meetings with maintenance personnel and management
  • Collaborate with management to create a calendar for work requiring shutdowns
  • Generate and analyze reports on work order status and materials
  • Support the completion and closure of work orders to meet performance metrics
  • Handle urgent work requests as they arise
  • Act as the primary contact for service requests and manage work order routing
Candidate Profile:

Qualifications:
  • Associate's Degree in facilities management, business, or a related field; or equivalent experience preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel and Access.
  • Experience with CMMS is essential.
  • Prior experience in scheduling is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with facilities maintenance and operations is required.
  • Understanding of maintenance trades, common repairs, and services.
  • Client-focused attitude with excellent communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and prioritization abilities.
  • Capability to manage tasks with minimal supervision.
  • Professional demeanor in high-pressure situations.
  • Ability to work effectively under time constraints.

This position is based on-site.
