Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Power Generation Business Development Manager to join our team at Hunt-Guillot & Associates. As a key member of our business development team, you will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities in the power generation, transmission, and distribution space.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute business development strategies to drive growth and revenue in the power generation industry
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients, including utilities and engineering consulting services firms
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities through cold calling, networking, and trade shows
  • Prepare and present technical sales presentations to potential clients
  • Assist with budget review, proposal development, and negotiations as necessary
  • Coordinate proposal development and presentations
Requirements
  • 5+ years' experience in the Power Generation industry in Business Development, Engineering, or Project Management capacities
  • Strong client network within the Utilities Sector, including Power Gen, Battery Storage, Solar, and other Alternate Energy solutions
  • Prior experience working with utilities or engineering consulting services firms
  • Must be located in Ruston, LA, Baton Rouge, LA, The Woodlands, TX, Dallas, TX, or Tulsa, OK
