Affordable Housing Community Director

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Community Director to join our team at FPI Management, Inc. This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires a strong understanding of affordable housing programs and a proven track record of success in property management.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee the day-to-day operations of a small asset/property, including managing a staff of up to 5 Full-Time Employees (FTEs).
- Develop and implement strategies to enhance the value of the property/asset and meet the Client's operational and financial goals.
- Supervise and train on-site staff, including Assistant Community Director, Resident Services Coordinator(s), Compliance Specialist(s), Leasing Manager, Leasing Consultant(s), Maintenance Supervisor(s), Maintenance Technician(s), Make-Ready or Rehab Technician(s), Groundskeeper(s), Painter(s), and Housekeeper(s).
- Manage the maximum revenue potential of the property through the management of lease expirations and timely turnover.
- Ensure compliance with various department requirements, including Risk Management, and maintain current permit, licensing, and inspection requirements.
- Develop and implement resident retention programs and ensure the safety, comfort, and privacy of all property residents.
- Minimum 2 years' experience with affordable housing programs, including LIHTC, HUD programs, and USDA-Rural Development.
- Affordable Housing Accreditation (e.g., HCCP, HCP-E, COS, BOS, TCS, CPO) or other applicable designations in affordable programs.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar leadership role, preferably within Residential Property Management.
- Strong computer skills, including proficiency in MS Office, Google Apps, and property management-related software.
