Job Summary

A highly skilled Policy and Procedure Governance Specialist is sought by the Southcentral Foundation to lead the development, implementation, and maintenance of policies and procedures that ensure compliance with organizational conventions and style.

The successful candidate will provide education on policy composition and database operation, serving as the primary point of contact for policy needs. This role requires a strong background in writing proposals, policies, procedures, or substantial documents, as well as experience supervising a team of eight or more employees.

Main Responsibilities:

• Manage day-to-day operations of the Policy and Procedure program
• Support the composition of new policies and procedures
• Oversee the review and approval process
• Provide education on document composition and policy database operation

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in journalism, English, or related field
• Equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
• Five years of experience writing proposals, policies, procedures, or substantial documents
• Two years of experience supervising a team of eight or more employees

Native Preference:

The Southcentral Foundation pursues a policy of Native preference in hiring and training under P.L. 93-638.

Employee Health Requirements:

This position requires compliance with Employee Health Procedure, including agreement to comply with job-related health screening and immunizations. Required immunizations include MMR, Varicella, Hepatitis B, Influenza, T-dap, and COVID-19 vaccination.

The estimated salary for this role is approximately $85,000 to $110,000 per year, depending on location and experience.
