Job Description

This Administrative Support Specialist role involves providing clerical services in an administrative, informative, and programmatic context. The successful candidate will work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, requiring efficient prioritization and multitasking skills.

Responsibilities

  • Assist the public with inquiries and provide information related to State of Alaska criminal background check requests
  • Perform data entry duties related to these requests
  • Disseminate relevant information to appropriate parties
  • Staff various positions as required

Requirements

To be considered for this position, applicants must possess excellent communication and organizational skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a team environment. A high school diploma or equivalent is required, and previous experience in a similar role is highly desirable.
