Position:
Senior Project Architect, 5-12 years of experience

(please also refer to our other job posting for a Junior Architect/Designer with 2-6 years of experience)

Job Description:
We are actively seeking accomplished generalist architects with 5-12 years of experience to contribute to our projects. Candidates should possess confidence and proficiency in all stages of the design and construction process.

The role demands a strong design sensibility, exceptional communication abilities, and experience with meticulously documented buildings, alongside a genuine passion for craftsmanship and detail.


Qualifications:
The ideal candidates will demonstrate a robust background in modernist design and an acute attention to detail.

In this role, you will engage in all phases of project development, from initial conceptual design through to construction administration, collaborating closely with our team to achieve outstanding results.

Design excellence is paramount.

Exceptional communication and presentation skills are essential. You should be comfortable interacting directly with clients, consultants, and contractors.

A collaborative spirit is crucial, with a willingness to learn and teach, and to contribute wherever necessary.

Experience with high-end residential projects, emphasizing unique craftsmanship and meticulous detail, is preferred.

Technical Proficiency:
You should be adept with construction documentation and permitting processes.

5+ years of post-bachelor's professional experience in architecture or design, particularly focused on modernist residential projects, is preferred.

Proficiency in Revit, SketchUp/Enscape, and Photoshop is advantageous.

A passion for sustainable systems, materials, and assemblies is preferred.

Current initiatives include achieving net-zero energy goals, utilizing geothermal and photovoltaic energy, incorporating green materials, implementing planted roof systems, and managing greywater reuse.

The salary range for this position is currently between $71,000 and $104,000 annually, based on relevant experience, design expertise, and communication skills.
