We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Data Center Project Architect to join our team at Amazon. As a key member of our Design Engineering team, you will be responsible for designing and delivering high-quality data center facilities that meet the needs of our customers.
Key Responsibilities- Work with cross-functional teams to develop and implement data center design concepts and strategies.
- Manage and coordinate the design and delivery of data center projects, ensuring timely and within-budget completion.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including engineering, procurement, and construction teams, to ensure seamless project execution.
- Develop and maintain relationships with external partners, including architects, engineers, and contractors.
- Provide technical guidance and support to junior team members and contribute to the development of best practices and standards.
- Accredited Architecture degree and 8+ years of experience in industrial facilities design, with a focus on mission-critical facilities.
- Proven track record of delivering high-quality data center designs and projects.
- Strong understanding of building codes, regulations, and standards across the APAC region.
- Excellent communication and project management skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to travel internationally to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Master's degree in Architecture.
- Licensed Architect in an APAC jurisdiction.
- 3+ years of experience in data center design.
- Demonstrated ability to evaluate the constructability of new technologies and determine construction methods for data center equipment and facilities.
