About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to support our team at Advantage Technical. As a Project Assistant, you will play a key role in promoting U.S.-Japan trade, specifically in the food, agricultural, forestry, and fishery product industry.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain a database of clients interested in exporting food products from Japan and potential U.S. buyers.
  • Provide administrative and operational support for export promotion initiatives, including tracking progress towards goals.
  • Research and develop a list of U.S. companies interested in Japanese products.
  • Conduct market research on Japanese product exports to the U.S. and prepare informative reports.
  • Develop and support partnerships with organizations that can facilitate Japanese product exports to the U.S.
  • Prepare and manage internal documents related to export promotion activities.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in international relations, business administration, or a related field.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and Japanese.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suites.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Possess interest in Japanese food products, trades, and/or marketing and promotion.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
